Week beginning: 7th June, 2026.

On Corpus Christi Sunday, we celebrate the extraordinary gift of Christ’s presence in the Holy Eucharist.

In the Gospel, Jesus declares, “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in them.” These words remind us that the Eucharist is not merely a symbol but a living encounter with the Lord who nourishes, strengthens, and accompanies us on our journey of faith.

Each time we gather at the altar, we receive more than spiritual sustenance; we are drawn into communion with Christ and with one another. The Eucharist calls us to become what we receive – the Body of Christ in the world.

Nourished by this sacred gift, we are sent forth to reflect God’s love through acts of compassion, justice, and service.

May this feast renew our gratitude for Christ’s abiding presence and deepen our commitment to living as his disciples each day.
