Week beginning: 4th October, 2026.
This October, as we honour Mary in a special way, the Gospel invites us to reflect on the fruits of our faith. Jesus reminds us that God’s vineyard has been entrusted to us, and we are called to respond with faithful hearts.
Mary shows us what this response looks like. Her life was marked by trust, humility, and a willingness to say YES to God. Like the workers in the vineyard, we too are invited not simply to hear God’s word, but to let it bear fruit in our lives.
As we journey through this Marian month, may Mary help us to open our hearts more fully to God, to nurture the gifts He has entrusted to us, and to bring forth fruits of love, kindness, forgiveness, and service.
Let us pray with the powerful intercession of St Francis of Assisi for our Government, that their ability to support the vulnerable would increase and that they would anchor themselves on the desire to protect all human life.
